WHERE ARE WE LOCATED?
We are located in the destination wedding capital, gorgeous Santa Barbara. We are happy to travel up and down the California coast for our brides.
MAKEUP & HAIR TRIALS
Although not required, we highly recommend a hair and/or makeup trial. This gives you an opportunity to see your vision come to life, which will help to ease your mind on the day of. Bringing images for inspiration help to convey the overall look and feel of your bridal beauty vision. We also recommend images of your dress, as well as images of yourself in formal makeup that you have liked or disliked in the past for reference.
WHEN TO SCHEDULE THE TRIAL
We suggest scheduling a trial within 3 months of the big day. If you are a destination bride that won’t be in town until the few days leading up to the wedding, we suggest scheduling a trial before your rehearsal. This way your hair will be prepped for the following day and you will look your best for your rehearsal.
HOW LONG DOES THE TRIAL TAKE?
The trial generally takes around an hour and a half. We typically work on makeup and hair simultaneously during the trial.
WHERE DO YOU CONDUCT TRIALS?
We offer many options for trials. We have a private ocean view home studio. We can also come to you at any home, AirBNB, or hotel at no additional charge.
CAN I SCHEDULE MY TRIAL ON THE DAY OF MY ENGAGEMENT SESSION?
Yes, however we do not generally recommend this. An engagement session traditionally has a more casual vibe than the wedding day look and therefore the hair and makeup will be more casual based on the weather, location, wardrobe, etc…
We recommend 30 mins. per person for makeup and 45 mins. per person for hair with and hour per service allocated for the bride.
We will bring in a second team if necessary based on the needs of the timeline and the size of the party. If you specifically want to keep your timeline very short the day of, we need to know ahead of time in order to secure a secondary team of stylists. Additional teams are subject to a $100 flat fee.
Travel within 40 miles of Santa Barbara is complimentary. Travel beyond 40 miles from Santa Barbara is billed according to destination and is listed on our online rate sheet.
HOW TO BOOK
Once you have submitted an inquiry and decided you would like to move forward with booking, we will send over our service agreement. Once we have received your signed service agreement and $100 deposit, your event will officially be added to our calendar.
We require a $100 deposit for all wedding parties to reserve the date. The remaining balance is due the day of the wedding. Bridesmaids and family may pay separately but we strongly recommend all payment is gathered before we arrive to prevent delays in your timeline.
Cancellation may be submitted at any time via email or certified mail. Deposits are non-refundable.
